Poland has released Witcher Stamps
Last year, Poczta Polska, Poland’s biggest postal operator, released a limited print run of 180,000 stamps with a portrait of infamous video game character Gerald of Rivia.
In Poland, Gerald of Rivia is not only a popular protagonist of Project Red’s beloved video game series The Witcher. He’s also a character from Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, a national treasure in the European country. Thanks to CD Project Red, The Witcher is now well-known to a worldwide audience.
Considering the popularity of video games, I wouldn’t be surprised to see more similar stamp editions in the future.
Which favorite video game character would you like to see on your stamps?
