At large, the studies contribute to improve the quality of service of\u00a0public transport and to make the latter more attractive to travelers. Every year, the &#8220;railway test&#8221; has another focus. Past topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Review of the quality of rail travel consulting&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Survey on the mobility needs of rail travelers and non-rail travelers&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Identification of access barriers to public transport&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Analysis of rail travels with regard to quality of service&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Price comparison between rail and air travel in Germany and cities in other European countries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the most recent &#8220;railway test&#8221; in 2014\/15, Quotas compared traveling by air, train and bus with regard to specific characteristics.
